The village of Weyarn is situated in the valley “Mangfalltal”, where already the Celts had settled, beside a former major road of the Romans.  It is in this small Bavarian village, surrounded by lush meadows and fertile fields in the fairy tale landscape of the Alpine foothills, where you find the Hotel Country Inn “Alter Wirt”.

The house, which first obtained the publican license from the Duke Albrecht of Bavaria, offers today all the comfort, which the demanding guest might expect. In four restaurant rooms and in our beer garden “Augustiner” the guests are welcome to spend convivial moments and to savour the dishes of the traditional Bavarian and the international cuisine. Our chief cook prepares for you culinary delights based on products of the region. The Hotel “Alter Wirt” is a suitable place for a stopover on the journey southwards or on the way back home, to taste a fine meal or for a birthday or wedding party.
